Week #35

Week 4 in Valle de Azapa!!

Hola!!!!!

This past week was great, kind of went by faster since my last Pday was only 5 days ago!! This past week was a faith builder. We walked alot and didnt find many people to teach. But the lord always blesses the missionaries and we were able to put two baptismal dates with our investigators!!!! Its was something bitter sweet after a good few days of walking!!! Other than that Elder Mendoza and I are just having fun!! He`s a great Elder and works like no other!! Its great to hear him sing mariachi songs when we`re walking in the streets!!! Other than that, Arica is great and I'm loving it here and all the people!!! It's great to be a missionary and I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I can!!!

Hope you all are great and thank you so much for all the prayers and letters that you send!!!

Con amor,
EE

Week #34

Week 3 in Valle de Azapa!!!

Hola!!!

Last week was a blast!!!!!! There has been some very strange weather here for the past while! Last week we woke up and it was orange outside!! There was a huge dust storm that made it almost impossible to see outside!! It was so bad the mission president called and we couldnt leave the house til about 6 in the afternoon. Plus the next night is somewhat sprinkled!!! Que loco. Yesterday we had our "Get to know each other" with the new president which was  great!! He is awesome and I feel he will really help this mission and we´ll see lots of success! Also today was a great day. Since our pday had a special change to a tuesday because of the meeting....I was able to find a INDIO PÍCARO!!!!! My whole mission I´ve been looking for one and The Lord really blesses those that are doing his work!!! For those of you that dont know what an indio pícaro is, I´ll show you when I get home!

I dont have alot of time this week to write more but I love each and everyone of you and pray for the best for you all!!!!

Con amor,
EE

Week#33

Week 2 in Valle de Azapa!! Feliz cuarto de Julio!!!!

Hola!!!!

Last week was super awesome!!! I´m starting to get to know this sector pretty well. Theres lots of good members here that are willing to help in the work which is really awesome as a missionary here in this mission!!! The weather has been kink of weird here in Arica the past week. Very cloudy and there was a dust storm on Tuesday!! It made me feel like I was back home!!!! Hahaha! Elder Mendoza is super awesome and we get along great!! I´ve learned alot from him in just two weeks!! This past week we did alot of just knocking on doors sharing the message of the restoration and we found 9 new people to teach!!!! Also today for the first time in a very long time, we were alowed to play fútbol!!! With our new president of the misssion, theres going to be some changes but everyone was very happy with that one. Before we couldnt play sports but now we can!!! But that´ll be it for this week, hope you all enjoy your 4th of July and fireworks!!!

Con mucho amor,
EE
