Week #28

WEEK 22 IN PAIPOTE!!!! & BAUTISMO!!!! & MATRIMONIO!!!!

Hola!!!!!

Great week here in Paipote!!!!! We had the baptism of Estefania which went super great!! The work is really spreading here in Paipote and its super awesome to see that!! In other news, I ran into a wall walking down the stairs this week!! Wasn't to bad of a injury! There's pictures in my one-drive! Also Bryan got married!!!!!! It was super awesome and plus there was a ton of food!!! Not much else besides it rained just a little yesterday, so we climbed to the top of a hill so we could feel the rain better!! Its been a pretty great week!! I don`t have much time this week since we have to go find food for this week, but I want to leave you with my simple testimony that I know this church is true and that this work is done by the Lord and I am ever grateful to be his servant and his witness of it. And I leave this with you in his name, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #27

WEEK 21 IN PAIPOTE!!!!

Buenas!!!!!

Wow, its great to be a missionary!!! It is awesome to be a representative of Jesus Christ and to proclaim his gospel!! This past week was great!! Elder Ruiz and I put on our pants and got to work!!! As of right now we are helping 5 people progress towards their goal of baptism. One of them, which will be this saturday, we are super excited for and very grateful for the blessings of the Lord!! Elder Ruiz is a stud and its great having a chileno as a companion since they`re good at talking with other chilenos!!!

Cool experience, yesterday we had a lesson with Marta. She is the sister of Roberto whom him and his wife are converts of almost two months. Well at the begginning of the lessons I didnt really feel like things were clicking in my brain and my overall teaching abilities. Well I did what I usually do while we`re teaching. I said a pray in my heart that we could teach Marta what she needed. And then soon after I just felt like my mind was open, I could feel and hear the impressions of spirit and we taught her what she needed. Most of all, she felt the spirit and so did we. Thats one of the most crucial elements in this work. Teaching by the Spirit. And I know this is the work of the Lord and things are done by his will. I know that he answers prayers. And I know there is nothing better that I could be doing at this point of my life.

Les quiero muchĂsimo,

EE

Week #26

Week 20 in Paipote!!!!!!!

Hola!!!!!

This past week has been great!!!! Elder Ruiz is the bomb!!! He`s from the south of chile and loves rugby. Plus he has been carrying a weight set around his whole mission so now we got some weights in our pension to really get some muscle growing!!! He has 10 months in the mission so just a little more than me but he is a great missionary that is really animated about the work. I feel very greatful to have him as my companion and I really hope to learn alot from him. I dont have much time this week to write much more and I also forgot my camera.... but next week I`ll send a great update! Hope you all are doing very well!

Elder Fuller left last night and is making his way back to the U.S.. My new companion Elder Ruiz will be here tonight at 8:30. He is a chileno and thats all I know. But it`s going to be awesome working with him and my spanish will get so much better!!! All in all, last week was great also getting my new shoes is going to save my life!! Don`t have much time today since I`m bouncing around with other Elders as we wait for our companions but I`m am so grateful for the help of the Lord and I know none of this work would be done if it wasn`t for him. Love you all!!!

Week#24

Week 18 in Paipote!!!

Hola!!!!

This past week was great!!! Our investigator Bryan is so awesome and we are so excited for his baptism this week!!!! Also this week is the last week for Elder Fuller as a missionary! Its been great to know this guy and have him train me and be my companion for the past 19 weeks!!!! But this saturday i will know my new companion and I hope he is latino so my spanish can get even better!!

Cool story that I want to share is about the power of the gospel. So Roberto one of our recient converts of about a month has a sister that lives with him and his wife. At the beggining she was very evangélico and didnt want anything to do with us. Well after seeing the changes in the live of her brother and sister- in-law, she started reading the Book of Mormon. And yesterday she decided to come to church with Lorena!!!! Its been crazy to see the power of the gospel show itself through other people. Im excited for her and hope she continues in this path!!! Well I dont have much time this week but I love you all!!!
