Week #32

Week 1 in Valle Azapa!!!!!

Hola mis queridos!!!,

Well I`m here in Arica and things are great!!!! The bus ride last week wasn`t bad. Long but kind of relaxing. I keep having good luck with sectors, here where im at is really green in some parts. Theres alot of really good people here and I`m really excited to work here. Also I`m in a ward which is pretty weird coming from a brach. The members here are super supportive in the missionary work which I love since it makes the work just a little easier. My companion Elder Mendoza is super cool! He`s from mexico and its really fun to hear how he talks in comparison to chilenos. He`s a great missionary and I hope to learn alot from him. Its been quite crazy here in Chile with the Copa America and all. Chile won so it was super crazy last night and I little hard to get some sleep!

I hope everyone is doing good and I`m very greatful for the love and support I recive. I know my Savior lives and that through him we can be made perfect as we follow his teachings and example. I encourage you all to follow him and strive to live to your potential.

Con mucho amor,

EE

Week #31- Transfers

Semana 25 en Paipote, mi ultimo semana(Week 25 in Paipote , my last week)

Hola!!!!

Well cambios came and I´ll be leaving Paipote today at 6:50 sharp. I am headed off to Arica!!!! Which is the other end of our mission, so I´ll have a fun bus ride coming up!!! My new comp, will be Elder Mendoza! Plus, I´m going to be District Leader, which is something that I feel super inadequate to do with the time I have, but I know the Lord will strength those that he has called to minister, so I think it´s gonna be a blast!!!! This past week was quite different, saying goodbye to all the members and recent converts was a little sad but I'm excited for Paipote for whats coming. Elder Ruiz my companion is going to train a newbie here so I have faith that Paipote will continue to grow and see even more miracles after I am gone!!! In other news, I cut my hair for myself, which turned out pretty good.

Well I need to finish packing but I want to express my gratitude first for the time I´ve had here in Paipote and for the many people I´ve been able to help during my time. I know this is the Lords work and that he leads a directs it. I know I was sent here to meet certain people and to preach the gospel at this time. My desire is that the gospel will continue to spread here and that the members, new or old, will continue in the Lords church.

Les amo( I love them),

Week #30

Week 24 in Paipote!!! With a Baptism!!!

HOLA!!!!!

Its been a great week!!!! Most of this week was spent getting stuff ready for our baptism we had!!!
Our mamita taught us how to make Berlinas this past week too!! They were super delicious and the hermanas in our zone dont belive that we made them! We went sandboarding today and saw the mine were the 33 miners were trapped back in 2010. Theres a ton of pictures and some videos too!!

So Saturday was the baptism of Marta which was super awesome!! Even better, her brother, who is a convert of two months or so, baptized her!! It was a super cool experience and very gratifying also!! This will probably be my last week here in Paipote so its time for me to get to work. I hope everyone is doing well and thank you for all the love and support!!!!!

Con amor,
