Week 16 in Mejillones!!!
¡¡HOLA!!

It´s been a good week!!! Elder Kirk and I have been getting to work!! Its been hard the past while since everyone is gone for summer vacation, but we spent two days just purely looking for people and the rest of the week we had just days full of appointments so things are doing good here!! Working with Elder Kirk is the best! I love this guy, super fun to be around and we got a good bit of stuff in common so walking around in the sun ain´t too bad!

Cool story from this past week. So we were out in the tomas tuesday I believe, and we were passing around visiting people and our plans were just falling through. So we decided to go visit one part of the tomas that we didn't have plans to go to. So as we were there, and no one was answering their doors. So as we were leaving a little boy runs up to and says, ' Mi tío quiere hablar con ustedes!' (My uncle wants to talk to you!). So we follow this boy to his house and this man named Jimer is there with his wife outside and the man starts telling us a bunch of stories and how he´s been wanting to join a church lately. So we teach him, his wife, sister-in-law, and her two kids!!! And we asked them all if they want to get baptized and they all said yes! So right now we´re teaching them, and helping them prepare for baptism!!!! A great little miracle that we had!!!!!

I hope you all have a good week and that you can remember all the little blessings and miracles that happen in your daily life!!!

Con Amor,

 Elder Grant Arthur Eagar
¡HAY BAUTISMO!

"What I am suggesting and asking is that we turn from the negativism that so permeates our society and look for the remarkable good in the land and times in which we live, that we speak of one another’s virtues more than we speak of one another’s faults, that optimism replace pessimism. Let our faith replace our fears."
